Better Than Beige…Red

Paint isn’t just for walls.  Other surfaces can also benefit from a color face lift.  These cabinets were solid wood but a little dull.  The owner decided to spice them up with this feisty color.  Notice how the high gloss really makes them pop.  Red is actually versatile enough to transform into a more traditional look, country or southwest style.  The knobs, accessories and wall color are what will make the difference.  Imagine dark wood floors, white walls and blue and white dishes and accessories for a more traditional look.  This homeowner decided to accent with ochre, greens and reds for an artistic hacienda flair.

Red draws attention and a keen use of red as an accent can immediately focus attention on a particular element. …from sensationalcolor.com

Which would you prefer: white walls with red cabinets or red walls with white cabinets?

This color is a custom mix from Behr.
