The painting is gorgeous, but notice how nicely it is framed out by the color on the wall. Don’t get me wrong, I love white walls, especially in a really modern setting, but many times color makes a world of difference. It can highlight the colors in artwork or fabric on furniture. This is one great example.
There are thousands of paint choices available. Designers say that it is best to choose your furnishings first and then decide on wall color. Choose something compliments the fabric in the room or choose a color that is found subtly in a your artwork and watch it pop.
